Session Types and Topics
Various topics will be presented and discussed within Plenary Sessions and Symposia, Practical Sessions, Clinical Cases, Oral Abstract Sessions and EMAS Debate Sessions:
There will be four Plenary Sessions taking place during the congress. Each of them will be 60 minutes long.
There are no parallel events to each plenary lecture and all meeting participants are invited to take part.

- The basics of menopause
- Hot topics in menopause
- Managing the perimenopause: a clinical challenge
- Menopause: empowering women
The round tables will last 1,5 hours, including three speakers each.
TOPICS:
- Menopause and society
- Menopause and metabolic health
- Current trends in menopausal hormone therapy
- Menopause and CoViD-19: what have we learned?
- Menopause, aging and cognition
- Late parenthood
- Living with and beyond cancer
- Menopause and cardiovascular disease
- Premature ovarian failure
- Managing the menopause without hormones
- Menopause and genitourinary syndrome (GSM)
- Menopause and digital health
Society Symposiums will have a duration of 60 minutes.
The EMAS School will be held in two blocks of 1,5 hours by 3 speakers each.
TOPICS:
- MHT in the general population
- MHT prescribing challenges
The Practical Sessions are workshops, lasting 1,5 hours and including three speakers each.
TOPICS:
- Gender dysphoria
- Medical Nutrition Therapy and Physical Exercise
The three Clinical Cases will last 1,5 hours, including talks of three different speakers each.
TOPICS:
- Menopause and comorbidities I
- Menopause and comorbidities II
- Menopause and comorbidities III
There will be two EMAS Debates during the congress.
TOPICS:
- Egg freezing for social reasons
- MHT for preventing cognitive decline and dementia after menopause
