All accepted abstracts will be published online on the congress website and on the journal Maturitas. Maturitas is an international multidisciplinary peer-reviewed scientific journal of midlife health and beyond. The 2022 impact factor is 5.11. All abstracts will be published in the July 2023 issue (printed and online).
Abstract Submission will open in November 2022.
There is no ATM accessible on the congress venue. Please plan your visit accordingly.
Onsite, card and cash payment is accepted.
Lunches and refreshments are not included in the registration fees. However, you will find a catering station offering various drinks and snacks within the Exhibition Area (Palazzo dei Congressi).
At the end of the Congress, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance by email including the exact number of CME credits obtained. In order to count your CME credits, please remember to scan your badge once daily at the CME Scanning stations in the Registration Area, located on the ground floor of the Palazzo degli Affari.

The Closing Ceremony will take place on Friday, 05.05.2023, between 17:15 and 17:45 in the Auditorium (Palazzo dei Congressi).
The EMAS 2023 Congress is accredited with 19 CME Credits. To receive the credits, please remember to scan your badge once daily at the CME Scanning stations in the Registration Area, located on the ground floor of the Palazzo degli Affari.
Please wear your badge at all times within the congress venue. Access to the congress facilities will not be granted without a proper Congress Badge. If an attendee loses, misplaces or forgets the name badge, a handling fee of 50.00 EUR will be charged for a new Congress Badge. Upon handing out a new Congress Badge, the lost badge will become invalid.
The Congress Dinner will take place on Thursday, 04.05.2022 at 19:45 at the restaurant of the Grand Baglioni Hotel (Piazza dell’Unità Italiana, 6, 50123 Florence). Tickets for the Congress Dinner can be purchased for the price of 90.00 EUR. Please note that the number of tickets is limited.
The official language of the Congress is English.
The official currency in Italy is the Euro (EUR). All payments connected to the 14th European Congress on Menopause and Andropause will be in Euro (EUR).
The interactive open session room is located within the Exhibition area. It provides a great opportunity to interact with the speakers.
The single number to call for emergencies in Italy is 112 (without any area code).
Congress participants are invited to visit the Exhibition Area during the Congress. The Exhibition Area is located in the Palazzo dei Congressi and will be open during the following times:

Out of respect for authors’ and speakers’ copyrights, it is forbidden to film during any official congress session. In case of negligence,the organisers reserve the right to exclude the participant from the Congress. Official videographers are authorised to film sessions during the Congress.
The EMAS General Assembly will take place on Thursday, 4 May 2023 from 18:30 to 19:00 in room Sala Verde. Every member of EMAS is welcome to attend.
Found items should be deposited at the Cloakroom, located on Level -1 in the Palazzo degli Affari.
The Congress has a Mobile App supporting all iOS and Android devices. It will be available for download in the respective app stores under the name EMAS 2023 a few days before the Congress.
Mobile phones must be set to silent mode in all session rooms at all times.
The Opening Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 3 May 2023, between 17:15 and 18:45 in the Auditorium. Following the Opening Ceremony, all delegates are invited to the Welcome Reception for snacks and drinks, taking place in the Exhibition Area between 18:45 – 19:45.

Press registration is free of charge.
In order to register as a press representative, you are required to be at least 18 years old (as of May 2023). To complete the registration, the Congress organiser requires a proof of the journalist’s professional affiliation. All credentials will be verified and approved before the press registration is confirmed. The number of press registrations is limited. EMAS reserves the right to refuse applications.

The congress venue is easily accessible via public transportation. It is a 5-min walk from the main railway station Santa Maria Novella.
Public transportation is not included in the registration fee.
EMAS is happy to announce that three awards sponsored by Elsevier will be made at EMAS 2023. These are:
- New Investigator
- Best Poster
- Best Oral Presentation
All winners will receive 500 Euros and an award certificate. Authors may apply for the New Investigator award when submitting their abstract to the EMAS Congress. To be eligible, the researcher must present either a poster or an oral presentation at the Congress and must have a current passport showing that he or she is under the age of 35.
The Registration Area is located on the Ground Floor of the Palazzo degli Affari.
It is forbidden to smoke inside the buildings (including electronic cigarettes). Outside in the garden, smoking is allowed.
We are happy to have you for the Welcome Reception and the Congress Dinner (the Congress Dinner is not included in the registration fees).
The available amount of tickets for the Congress Dinner is limited.
Speakers must hand in their presentation in the Speaker Preview Room at least 4 hours prior to their scheduled presentation time.
The Speaker Preview Room is located on Level -2 at the Palazzo dei Congressi.
